A - Battle practice (LIN)

Posted this under Somnium Infinito because I know many of you are gonna need to practice.
Umm..anyways...

If you aren't too familiar with battle mechanics, please read the tutorial or the Somnium Infinito Posting guide in this forum; This way you'll be a little more informed.

You will NOT gain stats from doing this, this is just so you can practice the battles and get used to posting formats. I would recommend you try both PHYSICAL attacks and MAGIC attacks.

Um Cody xD We're already in the middle of a battle in this thread. When you respond, try checking the posts first. The HP of the monster in the battle, if you join in, should be the one of the previous post. So in this case, the monster would be....

Make sure, when you post the monster's HP, you take out the damage the person before you did to it on their turn. You check the result of the "Battle Modifier" roll and the Strength, add it together, and subtract it from the HP.


Also, you have to put YOUR character's own HP; which you can find by looking in the DATABASE . Scroll down to your character and see how much Stamina they have; and that is your maximum HP. The Strength of your character is under strength, and the Magic abilities your character can use is dependent on his magic level; A list of what spells at what levels can be found under the spell tab. Please make sure you read the tutorial THOROUGHLY before you hop into a battle. :3 Thank you ))

It is practice, I'm here to help you understand the battle mechanics :3 But remember what I said if you join a battle. Go ahead and try to do an attack again; but look over the battle tutorial again if you need ))

Don't forget to roll the dice; if you can't find it, it's under the posting box but you HAVE TO HIT ADD REPLY; don't use the quick reply box. There should be an option that says "Roll dice"
