8 - The Hall

The elevator opened up to exactly what I'd imagined... what I reminisced. The hall was a bit long, but not endless as it might seem. There were doors that lined the walls and at the end of the hall, a portrait... Rose. It was Rose. A red carpet stretched the entire length, and small stylized lamps jutted out of the walls between each pair of doors... a total of 16, 8 on each side.

I'm accompanied by Hade(correct?) and Raal, so maybe it won't be so bad...

Joan: *peeks out of the elevator, grasping his spear in both hands* So...? It worked, I suppose..... So there are... what did you guys call them, Upsets here?

Raal: *smiles and walks out into the hall* of course there are, but they usualy attack when you gather *looks at the portrait* interesting place

Joan: Ehh I see.... Yes this place... It was one of my favourite places in the castle just for that portrait. *He follows him out of the elevator, wary*

Raal: the person in the portrait, what she important to you?

Joan: Yes... That's Rose, the one who was going to rule with me. *He stalked over to a door, taking the knob in his hand and twisting it open to a storage room of sorts. There were crates and boxes, stacking in a neat and orderly fashion. The lighting was dim. He stepped inside, gripping the weapon a little harder*

Joan: *goes through a crate, vaguely remembering what was in this room in his other life* If my memory serves me right there should be...... *nothing was there* ....Hmmh... Maybe not this room then... I suppose we could make use of these containers though, could we not...?

Hade followed out of the elevator a few moments after Raal and Joan, silently looking at his surroundings. It was very regal in the hallway, and his vision was soon fixated on the portrait at the end. Her name was Rose, said Joan... He broke his stare and followed the two into what appeared to be a supply room. He gripped the handle to his Hangeki, awaiting an Upset to appear any moment.

Raal: of course~ *takes one* but is there anything in them?

Joan: *shakes his head* No. Only air. Maybe the next room...?

Hade: I have a question, Joan. What exactly are we searching for? *walks out of the room*

Raal: alright then *gathers the crates*

Hade: *retracts his Hangeki, and smiles* Congradulations! Only an infinite number left waiting in hiding. Now, please answer; What exactly are we searching for?

Raal: anything that catches the eye of course~ it is a royal castle so there might be silver and gold or things like Sapphires and diamonds laying around~

It sounded to me like looting... Better yet, looting my castle, even if it wasn't the real thing. It still didn't sound very appealing but it was necessary...

Joan: .... *goes back into the hall and opens another door, this time it was a bedroom. A bed with white sheets and a mosquito netting, a couple of nightstands on either side and a dresser on the opposite wall of the room. There were many drawers and a mirror.* Oh... It looks like the guest rooms.. One of them anyway..
